Fire Test in the Service Centre Gotha
Test conditions
The test conditions are in accordance DIN 4102 (German Standard):
- temperature in the test chamber according to
DIN 4102 - pressure : 10 mbar overpressure at the top rail; up to 20 mbar possible
- tests of up to 120 min possible
Sizes
Test aperture:
- 1000 x 2000 mm
Size of the door blank:
- in block frame: max. 940 x 1985 mm
- in surrounding frame: max. 880 x 1940 mm
Rabbet
- German Standard DIN left recommended
- blunt / over-rebated
- opening towards/from the furnace
Frames
The installation of wooden surrounding frames is possible.
The results of tests with steel frames only have a limited applicability as the deformations of the steel frame are not absorbed by the oven construction.
Installation :
The test specimen is fitted into a steel frame which is then installed in front of the furnace.
